| A success for all Malaysians! |
| The EM1M team considers its successful journey on the Kawasaki Versys 650 from Kuala Lumpur to London overland in a time of 62 days not only a personal success but one by the entire nation. This is because we couldn’t have done it without the support and prayers of Malaysian citizens following our progress from home. We also felt very blessed for we hardly faced any problems when crossing from one country to another and our bikes were mechanically sound throughout the entire 20,941km journey. |
| The involvement and support from the following establishments have also aided us greatly ever since the early stages of our preparations, as early as June last year : Kumpulan Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd., Kawasaki Motors (M) Sdn, Bhd., Givi Asia Sdn. Bhd., Malaysian Airlines System Bhd. (MAS) and Islamic Relief Malaysia (IRM). The EM1M isn’t a famous expedition and we are ever grateful to them for placing their confidence in our ability to uphold the 1Malaysia spirit. |
| Although the EM1M is a personal initiative involving the support of private companies, the government played a large part through the support extended to us by Wisma Putra, providing us the diplomatic assistance necessary to make our endeavour a success. |
